FORMER Yizo Yizo and Zone 14 actor Jabu Christopher Kubheka allegedly left a suicide note for his wife, Cynthia.
Sunday Sun understands the letter was written just moments before the actor allegedly took his own life.
The note read: “Sorry my love. I am dead. Ekamerweni lethu (In our bedroom). Jabu.”
The actor, famous for his roles as Gunman and Bazooka, respectively, in both drama series, was found dead in his house in Soshanguve, Tshwane, on Monday.
According to his wife Cynthia Khumalo, Gunman was stressed and angry that his friends had betrayed him.
But she refused to name the friends.
Cynthia told the SunTeam about her last talk with Gunman about his friends on Sunday.
Said Cynthia: “He told me that one of his friends from Durban was coming to Jozi, so he wanted to meet with them before going back to Durbs with them.
“He said while they were together, one of his friends received a call informing them a friend’s family member had passed on. The friend told Gunman there would be a change of plans.
“The friend would no longer go with my husband back to Durban. So, Gunman came back home. He was so stressed.”
According to Cynthia, she told Gunman everything would be alright after his auditions with a DStv drama series.
“I was heartbroken when I came back from work to find him hanging on window burglar bars in our bedroom,” Cynthia said.
“He had opened the gate for me in the morning. Everything seemed well.”
Gunman will be laid to rest at Avalon Cemetary in Soweto today.
