KWAITO artist Mshoza’s fans are worried that her singing career is over . . .
The artist, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, has found a full-time job dealing with accounts in a human resources department!
Mshoza, who made a name for herself freestyling on Jam Alley as a teenager, has not been doing so well in recent years. Many people only know her for her 2001 hit, Kortes.
Speaking to the media, Mshoza’s brand manager and spokesman, Thando Xolo, confirmed that she had joined the working world.
“Yes, Mshoza is working in human resources, but we cannot reveal where she is working,” he said.
“She is a famous person, and revealing her workplace could put her life in danger.
“She has not given up on music. She works during the week and performs over weekends. She is currently studying for a course in human resources management.
“People need to understand that there are two sides to Mshoza. There is Mshoza the entertainer and Nomasonto the corporate lady.
“She is not new to the business world and not new to the industry. She owns a business that provides trucks for mining.”
Thando said Mshoza had encountered fans at her new job, but as she was a humble person she always embraced them.
